PART I:  Computer Based Training offered by TXHHS online (60 Hours). Cost: Free

Instructions for Registering for the Free Computer Based Training (CBT):

2. After you have created your account and are logged in, be sure to follow all directions. Refer to this guide.
3. Start and complete the LTCR - Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP) (2024) (60-hour self-paced) course. IMPORTANT: After completing the course, download your certificate and bring it with you at the start of the Clinical/Lab session. You alone will be able to access this certificate.

PART II: Clinicals offered by THS In-Person. (2 Weeks, 40 hours). Cost: $650

Instructions for Registering for the Clinicals:

1. When you are ready to take the Clinical/Lab portion of the Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP) course, register and pay the tuition. Bring your certificate with you at the start of the Clinical/Lab session.
2. The in-class lab and on the job training clinical course will last 2 weeks in total.

NOTE: Completing both the CBT and Clinical courses will provide you with the 100 hours you need per clinical guidelines to sit for the CNA Certification Exam.
